3 SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY On behalf of the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("SEOPW CRA"), we are pleased to submit the Annual Progress Report and Financial Statements for the period commencing October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020 (FY 2019-20). Last Thursday, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency board, which sees Commissioner Keon Hardemon as its chair, approved a resolution that would extend the life of the CRA from 2030 to March 2042. The resolution was unanimously approved by the board members and will go next to Miami-Dade County officials for review The Southeast/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency was created in 1982 to undertake activities and projects that would eradicate conditions of slum and blight. The main objective of the CRA is to spearhead new development and redevelopment efforts that accomplish beneficial revitalization within its boundaries.
