O'Connor Uniting church, as well as regular Sunday Worship Services, has a range of outreach activities to the community as well as children's play area, hall hire and a community garden. O'Connor is an affluent suburb of Canberra, Australia in the North Canberra district characterised by its leafy, heritage listed streets. It was named after Richard Edward O'Connor (1851-1912), who was a judge in the High Court and a founder of the Australian constitution. Street names in O'Connor are named after explorers, Australian flora, legislators and pioneers. The hirer is required to pay the church for any damage to the venue as a result of the hire. No alcohol, smoking, gambling, or drugs are permitted on our premises. Bookings are to be finalised with the church office at least one week in advance of an event.
