Beschrijving: Zes jaar voordat Flevoland een provincie werd is het provinciehuis gebouwd naar een ontwerp van architect G. Vermeer. Het gebouw werd in 1980 in gebruik genomen. In 1992 werd het gebouw uitgebreid met een nieuwe vleugel en een nieuwe statenzaal.
