HBO Max is coming back to Prime Video Channels in the U.S.! Prime customers can sign up for HBO Max for $14.99 per month, and subscribers will have access to 15,000 hours of curated premium content from the Warner Bros. Discovery family of networks. "We strive to offer customers the best and widest selection of premium content available for On-demand streaming for select HBO shows kicks in on May 21st. A few shows — including Girls, The Newsroom, and Veep — will be made available over the course of the agreement. The Wire, The Sopranos, and Boardwalk Empire are just some of the shows which will be made available to Amazon Instant Video subscribers. Amazon will pay HBO more than $300 million over the course of the deal's three-year term, according to Re/code. Though large in itself, the amount is paltry compared to the $75 billion Amazon generated in sales last year and the $1 billion annual budget Amazon is believed to have put in place to build its streaming video catalog. Amazon pulled off a bit of a coup last month when it an inked a three-year deal with HBO worth $300 million to stream older HBO programming on Prime Instant Video.
