Abstract Click-evoked auditory-brainstem-response (ABR) is widely used for hearing screening in neonates and infants. However, their normative values are based on small studies. This retrospective study was done at a ter-tiary-care centre where click-ABR based screening is done in all newborns. This Recommended Procedure represents a brief synthesis of the current evidence-base and consensus on Auditory Brainstem Response testing post-newborn and adults, as prepared and reviewed by national and international experts, and approved by the British Society of Audiology (BSA).
