So it's no surprise that the Tasmanian government went through the trouble to build the Tahune Airwalk. Built amongst the treetops in the Huon River Valley, the Tahune Airwalk takes you 50 metres above the forest floor. The race starts in front of the grandstands, with a standing start. Racers make one lap around the track, changing horses twice in front of the grandstands.
