A Therapeutic Review project results in clinical and economic review reports as well as a recommendations report. CADTH reimbursement reviews are comprehensive assessments of the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness, as well as patient and clinician perspectives, of a drug or drug class. The assessments inform non-binding recommendations that help guide the reimbursement The Procedures for CADTH Reimbursement Reviews details the process to be followed by all participants involved in a drug reimbursement review, and provides guidance to sponsors in the preparation of their applications. The CADTH Procedures for Time-Limited Reimbursement Recommendations details the process for issuing time-limited recommendations. Following a 2019 consultation, CADTH will implement a new application requirement called the Summary of Clinical Evidence Template which will apply for both standard and complex review applications.
