For the last decade, Steve has served as Upper School Principal at Friends School of Baltimore, working with 386 students and 55 faculty members in Grades 9-12.From 2005-2011, Steve was the Head of Middle School at Garrison Forest School.He is a seasoned administrator and experienced teacher, with more than 25 years of experience in both independent and public schools in the region. A native of New Jersey, Steve received a bachelor's degree from Kean University, an MBA from the University of Arkansas, and a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Steve is a member of the McLean County, Illinois and New Jersey Bar Associations. Steve presently Co-Chairs the Civil Justice Reform Group. He is a member Steve McManus is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at State Farm Insurance. As SVP and General Counsel, Steve has overall responsibility for the Law department, including the Corporate Law division, which handles litigation, legislative and regulatory affairs, and legal counsel provided to the organization; and the Claim Litigation Counsel division, which provides insurance defense Steve McManus, St. Louis managing shareholder. Nate Lawyer joins the firm after 15 years of private practice. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law, and will be working out of the firm's Tulsa office.
