The starting point for DAS WEISSE RAUSCHEN project from the artist TOM VAU are snapshots of a wide variety of feature films, paintings, photographs of mountain scenes and snow sport representations mostly of the 20s and 30s of the last century that have been made in the Alps. The two world wars shocked the continent of Europe in the first half Der Fall. Die Lernsituation basiert auf der Geschichte von Lukas in dem Film Das weiße Rauschen.Der Film ist das Regiedebüt von Hans Weingärtner mit Daniel Brühl in der Hauptrolle, ist an der Filmhochschule Köln entstanden, hatte am 31.01.2002 auf dem Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis in Saarbrücken Premiere und wurde dort mit dem Hauptpreis ausgezeichnet. Das weiße Rauschen ist ein deutsches Filmdrama aus dem Jahr 2001 und das Langfilm-Regiedebüt des österreichischen Regisseurs Hans Weingartner. Co-Regisseur und Drehbuchautor ist Tobias Amann. Die Hauptrolle spielt Daniel Brühl Hintergrund. Entstanden war die Idee der beiden Studenten im Rahmen Besonders überzeugend am "Weißen Rauschen" allerdings sind die mit guten Schauspielern, vor allem Daniel Brühl als Lukas, besetzten Figuren, die Dialoge und die Settings, die (endlich einmal) durchweg authentisch und natürlich wirken, eine Seltenheit in der deutschen Kinolandschaft.
