During our last visit to San Diego we took a day to visit Cabrillo National Monument for the first time. Highlights for us were the tide pool area, spotting gray whales, exploring the lighthouse, and the amazing views from Point Loma. There was a great short walk to some old military sites that our kids really enjoyed too.
