ABOUT BATON ROUGE SIGMA. On January 13, 1913, twenty-two undergraduate women at Howard University in Washington, D.C. founded Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Over the years, numerous collegiate and alumnae chapters have been chartered, across the United States and internationally. And, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, there were many Chapter Standings.
