The NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) supports patients, the public and health and care organisations across England to participate in high-quality research, thereby advancing knowledge and improving care. The CRN supports research being delivered through 30 specialty therapy areas and 15 Local Clinical Research Networks. These local networks coordinate and support the delivery of research in the NHS and across the wider health and social care environment, in England. The NIHR Clinical Research Network Thames Valley and South Midlands is hosted by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Events. The CRN West Midlands provides the infrastructure that allows high-quality research to take place in our area, so that people can benefit from new and better care and treatments.
