Peter de groot southampton

Peter de Groot is fascinated by interference fringes and their practical use for measuring things. He began his optics career by building a reflecting telescope fifty years ago, grinding and Prof Peter de Groot's research concentrates on the electrical and magnetic properties of nano-scale structures. He has published over 220 refereed papers in this research area. Engineering and the Opto-electronics Research Centre at Southampton, and include: Magnetic phases, spintransport and dynamics in exchange spring multilayer system A memorial scholarship has just been established in memory of Professor Peter de Groot, former head of the Physics and Astronomy department and the QLM Group at the University of Southampton. Professor de Groot was an experimental physicist, distinguished for his work on high temperature superconductors, optical and magnetic properties of ultra C.H.
