Federal Easement Lands: Sabrina Chandler is meeting with Illinois NRCS staff on October 26, 2023 to discuss options for restoration on easement lands owned in fee by the Service. Chandler will report back to the Coordinating Committee after the meeting. [Note: Following the meeting, Chandler reported that NRCS staff were very willing to work projects with mostly nonstructural elements. Sabrina Chandler said USFWS sponsors about 70 percent of UMRR's habitat projects and spends an average of $280,000 annually in its cumulative OMRR&R obligations.
