2023-01-24 - ROBBIE CHALMERS. A fire broke out at a historic country house in the Carse of Gowrie in the early hours of Monday morning. The alarm was raised at the empty Rossie Priory, located near Inchture and Abernyte, just before 2am. The A85 (T) forms the southern boundary of the policies, beyond which lie the flat lands of the Carse of Gowrie on the shores of the Firth of Tay.
