The new additions include the infamous reversed/mirrored Combi bowl as well a huge Park Series Style flow bowl. Come out and join the party; 10:00-4:00pm! As the brand leader of skate culture and community, Vans is excited to host a number of skate activations at this year's US Open where we'll be welcoming some of our athletes at events throughout the nine days.The Vans Showdown returns to Huntington Beach as a contest where culture overrides competition.This inclusive contest will feature all of the most relevant street skaters from around Details. The new Comb Pool is a reversed version of the indoor Combi Pool in the VANS store.And that one is a replica of the original Combi pool that was located at the Upland Pipeline Skatepark in California during the early 1977-88. It was one of the best pools in skateboarding history. 9ft 9in transitions and 12ft deep. Vans helped open a proper skatepark in HB and they had a huge opening day party with Rowley, Hosoi, Layton, Jay Adams, and many others. It looks like Orange was the first skatepark, and it's still open today. Today, the only public Vans Skateparks are in Orange and Huntington Beach, California. The new HB skatepark is outdoor and free. There's also a private skatepark in the Bronx.
