Dr. Murthy's research focuses on development of noninvasive techniques for drug delivery, drug sampling and therapy. The Ongoing projects of Murthy Research Group include: Electrically mediated Transdermal Delivery of Drugs and Macromolecules; Transcutaneous sampling of drugs and diagnostic markers by electroporationOne is dedicated to Lord Narasimha Moorthy and the other to Lord Maha Sudarsana Moorthy. Its two santorum, two towering gold-plated flag masts, a majestic Anapandhal (a place where elephants stand during rituals) as well as unique festivals add to the overall mystique of the shrine. The Sudarsana Moorthy Temple is believed to be 1300 years old. Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple, Simhachalam, is a Hindu temple situated on the Simhachalam Hill Range,which is 300 metres above the sea level in the city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped there as Varaha Narasimha.As per the temple's legend, Vishnu manifested in this form (lion's head and human body) after saving his devotee Prahlada Savanadurga Narasappa Krishna Murthy on January 4th 1993 at the age of 69 years.
