The Photographers' Gallery opened Soho Photography Quarter on June 9th, a brand-new outdoor space where the public can view world-class photography exhibitions for free. Move over tradition, there's a brand new kid on the block. Soho Photography Quarter joins the long roster of brilliant London art galleries with a cool focus on modern work Gathering, the newest gallery resident in London's Soho, will focus on contemporary art exploring systemic social issues. Last week, The Photographers' Gallery unveiled a new permanent exhibition space, situated within the streets and alleyways of its Soho home. Located just around the corner from Oxford Street station, Soho Located just a few steps from Soho in the Fitzrovia neighbourhood, Lazarides Gallery is the brainchild of Steve Lazarides, the patron and gallerist of London's street artists and founder of the renowned Pictures on Walls.What he and his gallery are perhaps best known for, however, is launching Banksy's international career and their unexpected split in 2009.
