This program provides ongoing practice monitoring for healthcare professionals that can include regular chart reviews by qualified physicians. The 1115 Crisis Intervention Benefit is comprised of multiple service components available to adults in Medicaid managed care. The four Mobile Crisis service components are Telephonic Triage and Crisis Response, Mobile Crisis Response, Telephonic Crisis Follow-Up, and Mobile Crisis Follow-Up. As of May 1, 2023, NYS OMH licensed CPEP providers Outcomes and Lessons Learned. The mobile crisis project has been self-sufficient with an average of 46 visits per month, approximately half of which are paid for by Medicaid. Project staff had hoped to have a second team up and running by December 2007, but as of mid 2008, have not accomplished that. From October 2011 through September 2012, there were 109,128 visits to CPEP emergency rooms throughout the State, an overall monthly average of 9,04 vis9 its.
