Recently there has been a lot of interest in the 100 round Beta C-Mag. It is frequently seen installed on the Colt 750 LMG model. SAR covered the C Colt did in fact market an eccentric pivot pin adapter, but it had large screw heads on both sides. The Colt adapter came with the LMG heavy barrel kits that were sold about 15 years ago. I believe these heavy barrels were made by Colt Canada. Be that as it may, the eccentric adapter shown in your picture is NOT, I repeat NOT, of Colt manufacture. The design became the open bolt M16 LMG (Colt Model 750). Modernization of the Model 750 to a flat top upper receiver, addition of a bayonet lug, 1913 rails on either side of the front sight block, and relocation of the bipod to a spigot mounted off the barrel resulted in the Colt Model 950.
