James John Gandolfini Jr. (Italian: [ɡandolˈfiːni]; September 18, 1961 - June 19, 2013) was an American actor.He was best known for his portrayal of Tony Soprano, the Italian-American Mafia crime boss in HBO's television series The Sopranos (1999-2007). For this role, he won three Emmy Awards, five Screen Actors Guild Awards, and one Golden Globe Award. James Gandolfini was first married to Marcy Wudarski in March 1999, a union that lasted until their divorce in December 2002. From this marriage, the couple had one child, Michael. Years after his divorce Gandolfini began a relationship with the model and actress Deborah Lin. Deborah (now 55) was born in 1968 in Hawaii.
