After almost 10 years as CEO of Anglicare NT, Dave Pugh's last day was Saturday 3 December, the final Board Meeting of 2022. Through a series of regional visits and morning teas, staff have had the opportunity to reflect, share some tears and laughter and acknowledge Dave's contribution. Dave has been thanked and recognised by many people Our history. Anglicare was first established in 1856 as The Church Society, originally to fund clergy and build new churches. Over time, its role expanded to provide Christian care to people in need. From 1911 to 1997 it was known as the Home Mission Society. In 1920, the organisation began working with young people who came before the Children Anglicare Sydney CEO Simon Miller has been appointed to the National Aged Care Advisory Council. The council provides advice to Government on key matters relating to the aged care sector. Speaking about the role, Mr Miller said: "At Anglicare we're passionate about creating life-enriching communities of care, working side by side with those we serve. Craig Kelly. Position: Chief Executive Officer. Craig Kelly commenced as CEO in December 2022 and brings extensive experience in senior leadership roles in the NGO and government sectors and holds an Executive Masters of Public Administration with the Australian and New Zealand School of Government and a Graduate Diploma of Management. Craig is Trevor commenced his role as Anglicare's Interim CEO in February 2024 and is a seasoned Executive Officer with significant experience in the not-for-profit, faith-based and financial services sectors.
