Swedish filmmaker and author Jan-Olof Nilsson recently visited me while he and his family were vacationing in south Florida. Nilsson and I communicated many times over the past several years on the subject of the American Internees in World War II Sweden. He has published two important books about these men: Anrop Red Dog and Lucky Strike. It is hard to imagine but Jan-Olof Nilsson will soon be retiring, after a career including 34 years at Sandvik.
