The inauguration took place at the CIOB's AGM in Doha, Qatar. Speaking about his appointment Ghassan said Professor Ghassan Aouad joined Abu Dhabi University as its Fourth Chancellor in January 2023. Before that he served as President of Applied Science University in Bahrain for over eight years. He spent five years in the Department of Civil and Building Engineering of Loughborough University in the UK, where he obtained his MSc in Construction Prof. Ghassan Aouad has academic experience for 25 years. During which he worked in many universities in the UK and the region and recorded outstanding contributions through holding senior leadership positions in these academic institutions.
