The Metrolink tramway/light rail system in Greater Manchester, is owned by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and operated and maintained under contract by RATP Dev Group. In 2014/15, 31.2 million passenger journeys were made on the system. The network consists of seven lines which radiate from Manchester city centre to termini at Altrincham, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Bury, East Didsbury, Eccles A class 399 tram-train vehicle in operation on the Sheffield Supertram network.
