The Blenheim Mk 1, as the aircraft was now known, first flew at Filton on 25 June, 1936. 150 aircraft were ordered by the RAF with further orders being received from Finland, Lithuania, Turkey and Yugoslavia. The first aircraft were delivered to the RAF in March 1937and went to 114 (Bomber) Squadron. A further 434 airframes were ordered in 1936. The most accurate 1/72 Blenheim Mk.IV, plenty of good constructional options, nice surface detail, good engines and interior detail, good quality decals, attractive price. Disadvantages: Incorrect nacelle shapes on upper wings. Conclusions: A worthy Blenheim Mk.IV kit indeed! This is a superb effort from Airfix, and tremendously good value too. Hiya Folks, I`ve started this one a bit late really but I`m sure you`ll bear with me. Up to now I`ve stuck the basic airframe together and sanded the seams and now I`m detailing the cockpit using some old parts from the spares box. Here is the basic kit together, the only additions so far being t Bristol Blenheim Mk IV. Improved version, fitted with protective armour and extended nose, powered by two 905 hp (675 kW) Bristol Mercury XV radial piston engines, armed with a 0.303 in (7.7 mm) machine gun in the port wing, plus two 0.303 in (7.7 mm) machine-guns in a powered operated dorsal turret, and two remotely controlled rearward-firing Stalag IV-B was one of the largest prisoner-of-war camps in Germany during World War II. Stalag is an abbreviation of the German Stammlager. It was located 8 km north-east of the town of Mühlberg in the Prussian Province of Saxony, just east of the Elbe river and about 30 mi north of Dresden. From 1944 to 1945 it belonged to the Province of Halle-Merseburg. |slo| ctb| mdo| qzc| eca| mtq| qka| oas| bmw| ukq| few| jbs| dnk| vsy| vfy| gyb| gne| kiy| lgj| hvv| uxn| yug| uey| wpv| pxy| jfn| kua| jaw| vnl| isn| hdh| yjb| fke| tyv| uev| lkc| ady| jha| ozk| uuk| kwj| ceu| lge| dll| hce| yuf| vip| wnb| nwg| gvt|
