The Saptashrungi Devi Temple is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty that adds to its allure. The Vani Forest, located in the vicinity of the temple, is a dense forest teeming with flora and fauna. The forest provides a serene and tranquil atmosphere, offering a perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. I casually posted photos of Saptashrungi temple I took during trip to Vani. Saptashrungi Temple is 2 storied shrine with the Devi preserved on the top floor. The Devi image is sculpted in a cave at the base of a large scarp cliff. The Devi is believed to be swayambhu (self-manifested) on a rock on the large face of a mountain.
