These automobiles form the Museum's permanent collection and are housed within the Carriage House, built in 1888 and Apr. 2019. Larz Anderson Park has beautiful rolling hills, and is a great place for a walk or a picnic. There's a nice ice skating rink in the winter (outdoors) and an underrated Car Museum on site. These historic automobiles constitute the Museum's permanent collection, housed in the Carriage House—a masterpiece constructed in 1888 by Boston's city Anderson House was built between 1902 and 1905 for American Diplomat Larz Anderson and his wife, Isabel Weld Perkins. Designed in the Beaux-Arts style, the Andersons used the house to entertain the social and political elite of America, as well as to showcase their collection of fine art and historic artifacts. Larz Anderson Park is a wooded, landscaped, and waterscaped 64-acre (26 ha) parkland in Brookline, Massachusetts that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The southwest corner of the park is in Boston.
