A pop-up Cadbury Creme Egg café is to open in central London, with bookings being taken online from tomorrow (19 January). The three-storey site at 26 Greek Street will operate for just seven weeks from 22 January, with dishes including a Creme Egg toastie (toasted bread sandwiched together with a Creme Egg), Creme Egg and soldiers, Creme Egg brownie tray bake, and mini Creme Eggs with It may be called a cafe but the pop-up will stretch over not one, not two but THREE floors, serving an array of Creme Egg-themed delicacies for you to gorge on.For just £2 you'll be able to get your paws on a Creme Egg toastie to take away.(Nope, we're not yolking). The first floor will have more of a restaurant feel, with four Creme Egg cuisines on the menu. The Independent reported that after the change in the recipe went public, Cadbury's Easter eggs sales fell by over $13 million, with Creme Eggs accounting for nearly $8 million of that loss. Still, one spokesperson for Cadbury, Claire Low, insisted that the recipe change was not the reason sales dropped.
