Taslima Nasreen is a Bengali, Bangladeshi author, feminist human rights activist and secular humanist. Born in the middle class Muslim family in North of Bangladesh in 1962, she received liberal education. At the age of 23 she became a doctor and started working in the poorer parts of her country.
