Taslima Nasreen is a Bengali, Bangladeshi author, feminist human rights activist and secular humanist. Born in the middle class Muslim family in North of Bangladesh in 1962, she received liberal education. At the age of 23 she became a doctor and started working in the poorer parts of her country. Life in exile 1994. Taslima lived in Sweden and started getting invitations from all over the world to give lectures on Human Rights, Women's Rights, Secularism and Freedom of expression. She became a symbol of free speech. 1995-1996- Lived to Germany. She did not want to give up her Bangladesh passport.
