The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was founded, May 11, 1929, by Dr. Annie Webb Blanton and is a professional honorary society of women educators. The Society promotes both professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education. The Society has established 2800 chapters in 17 countries with approximately 82,000 Our Executive Offices building opened in 1961 and was the first building constructed solely to house a sorority headquarters. Today, there are more than 80 professional staff members working to support Delta Gamma.
