This lively biopic depicts the rise of Florenz Ziegfeld (William Powell), a theater producer who became renowned during the 1920s for his lavish stage productions. Starting out by promoting Located on the corner of 6th Avenue and 54th Street, the theatre was named for the legendary producer Florenz "Flo" Ziegfeld, famed for his risqué revues that "glorified the American girl.".
