The Delta Kappa Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was founded on December 3, 1999. Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity is an inclusive organization dedicated to: promoting lifelong learning, inspiring Members to lead, and cultivating lasting fraternal bonds, while always conducting our lives with honor. We commit ourselves to a life of social service With a name intact, a governing branch established, and a new brotherhood, Delta Pi became an officially recognized social fraternity on April 30, 1967, which we consider to be our "Founders' Day." In Spring 1970, we became the Delta Pi chapter of the Sigma Pi national fraternity, an affiliation which lasted until November 1972, when we resumed Delta Kappa Chapter. The Delta Kappa Chapter ( Founded December 3, 1999) is located at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The Chapter was founded by Gamma Phi (University of Oklahoma) alumnus John Butenschoen and is a member of the Lonestar Region. Phi Sigma Pi is a Co-Ed National Honor Fraternity that stands upon a tripod of Leadership, Fellowship and Scholarship. We are bound by our brotherhood.
