The Kizer Mansion was built in 1882. It is located on .32 acres in South Bend, Indiana. The home features a covered front porch, a spacious entryway with a grand staircase, crown molding, beautiful mantels and wainscoting. Washington St., with plans to turn the once problematic Ziegler in front of Kizer House in South Bend, Indiana. Ziegler purchased the house from Indiana Landmarks in 2022 and moved to South Bend shortly after to oversee its renovation. He plans to convert parts of the house into an office, café, and residential space, but is especially excited about making the house a community project, preserving space where people can host events and meetings. Indiana Landmarks envisions the Kizer House as an active site that engages the community in ways our current office in the Remedy Building doesn't allow, such as on-site workshops, art shows, meetings, and other cultural events.
