Brill Hall, located off McKean Road, offers a meeting room, conference room, vending, and kitchen open to all residents of Eastview Terrace. Brill Hall is named after Julia Gregg Brill (1891-1985), who was the first woman professor in the English Department at Penn State. In 1930, Brill was the first woman elected to the Penn State Alumni Council. Rooms are renovated with AC and it's not as small as one would imagine and the bathrooms are nice only drawback is that it's expensive to live there. I lived in Eastview Terrace for three years and I really enjoyed it. Yes it's a bit more expensive, but all of the rooms are essentially 1 bedroom apartments and laundry is included. It's always incredibly quiet. I never heard my neighbors at all. I lived in Eastview for two years. Honestly, it was worth it. I loved having my AC and heat—both controlled by me. I loved being on campus, and I always took the Blue Loop stop at Nittany Apartments about four minutes away to get around campus.
