Chill vibes are coming to Long Beach in February when concert promoter Goldenvoice brings reggae, plus a bit of hip-hop, back to the city. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, for Picking up where One Love Cali Reggae Fest left off after last appearing in 2020—a festival that, like Cali Vibes, mixed a bit of funk, hip-hop, and R&B with traditional reggae—Cali Vibes is a huge nod to both the music culture surrounding Long Beach and L.A. itself as well as its connections with reggae. Southern California-based festival promoters Goldenvoice Cali Vibes brought good tunes, spectacular eats and special guests to Long Beach Day two of the three-day reggae, rock and hip-hop music festival saw sets from Gwen Stefani, Slightly Stoopid, Sean Local Gastronomy. If all that sounds exotic, then the gastronomy of Media Campidano matches it by all measures. If One Love Cali Reggae Fest could have its dream festival lineup, it materialized as Cali Vibes 2022.
