Named for his youngest daughter, it is a casual, neighborhood-style eatery in downtown New Orleans. Emeril's restaurant has also received a "Grand Award" from Wine Spectator every year since 2000 for its robust and varied wine list. Lagasse himself has received accolades and awards for his culinary expertise. In 1998 he was chosen as "Chef of the Year" by GQ magazine. In 1999, he was named one of People magazine's "25 Most Luxe international sushi brand Nobu is set to open its first New Orleans restaurant in the casino in 2024.
