Wisconsin's #1 source for high school sports information North Shore Milwaukee (NSMVC) began as a brief, two tournament season in 1990 with two teams and 15 players. The founding members and first generation of athletes to play for NSMVC started something special. They put boys' volleyball on the national map for the city of Milwaukee, southeastern Wisconsin, and for the State of Wisconsin. The Mississippi Valley Conference is a high school athletic conference in the southwest region of Wisconsin. It was formed in 1989 by its six founding members - Holmen, La Crosse Central, La Crosse Logan, Onalaska, Sparta, and Tomah. Our seventh full member - Aquinas - joined in 1997. Currently we sponsor 19 sports and all MVC schools are History. The MVC was formed in 1989.
