I thought I should figure out the math behind the talents and when each one becomes more powerful. Flameglow. Protects you with fiery energy, absorbing up to (Spell power * 30%) damage from each attack against you, up to 20% of each attack. Flameglow is a mage talent available at level 30. Flameglow is a passive ability, providing a permanent damage reduction on all incoming attacks based on the mage's spell power. Ice Barrier. For the pet battle ability, see [Ice Barrier]. Melee attacks against you reduce the attacker's movement speed by 50%. Absorbs X damage. Melee attackers slowed by 50%. Ice Barrier is a mage class talent. It is only available to Frost mages, and is automatically learned.
